Egg Harbor Township Project Graduation
The annual drug & alcohol–free event of the Egg Harbor Township High School
Since 1994, the Egg Harbor Township Home & School Association has sponsored an all night drug & alcohol-free post graduation event for the Egg Harbor Township High School’s graduating Seniors. Each year approximately 80–95% of the graduating class has participated in a safe evening of games, activities, entertainment, music, food and prizes on graduation night. The graduates enter their former school to find it totally transformed by decorations (a different theme is chosen each year).
``Our initial goal was simply to keep students safe on graduation night. Students attending learn that they can have an absolutely wonderful time with their friends and classmates without the influence of drugs or alchohol. From 11pm on graduation night until 5am the next morning, the graduates and their guests enjoy what has been called their 1st Class Reunion."
Project Graduation is for EHT High School graduates and their high school aged guest (if they choose to bring one). In order to attend the all-night festivity, everyone must check in that night and must check out if they are leaving before the event ends at 5am. Parents are notified if their attendee is leaving early.
